What to expect from Misfitz Audio?
You can expect an honest, open, no pressure experience. We'll ask you questions in order to understand what you’re interested in and what you need. We'll give you the opportunity to look and ask all the questions you want. You’ll also have the opportunity to listen to whatever you would like. There are different brands and there is no one brand that is the best for everyone. We can give you our opinion based on what we like but ultimately, it’s up to you and what you hear.
What kind of gear do you carry?
We like to have a variety of gear on hand. We are not supported by any manufacturer and as most of the gear is used, we have no vested interest in selling one piece over another. We've tried to collect gear that does what it does, well. Quality, durability and performance is important. The inventory available for sale is listed on the Catalogue page. New gear comes in frequently so inventory will change periodically.
Do you accept trades?
Yes, we certainly do. But what we accept on trade will depend on what you have to offer, what we have in stock and what we need for that particular time.
Do you buy items?
We do from time to time based on what is needed. We do not buy everything and are only interested in items that will best represent the store. Purchase price for your items will be based on condition, market value and giving consideration to resale potential.
Do you offer consignment sales?
Yes! We welcome consignment sales. We reserve the right to accept or deny any potential items based on condition, quality and the needs of the store. All consignment items are expected to be in good working condition. All consignment gear must also be available for demo at any time desired by customers.
Do you offer service?
Yes we do! We offer complete restoration services on all home stereo equipment including amplifiers, receivers, pre-amplifiers, turntables, speakers and more.

There are two types of warranties.
Consignment Warranty which covers all consignment items. This covers the product for 7 days on parts and labor. against failure due to normal and expected use. Items damaged due to physical abuse or improper use are not covered. All items are checked when they come in and any known issues are taken care of before being offered. In the event that an item is too costly or unable to be repaired, you will receive a full refund for the item.
90 Day Warranty which covers all store owned pre-owned items. This covers the product for 90 days on parts and labor against failure due to normal and expected use. Items damaged due to physical abuse or improper use are not covered. In the event that an item is too costly or unable to be repaired, you will receive a full refund for the item.
Shipped Items - Misfitz Audio does not take responsibility for any items damaged in shipping. We strongly encourage you to pick up heavy items as they are susceptible to shipping accidents.
Friday: Noon to 6pm
Saturday: Noon to 4pm
Service Hours: Equipment may be dropped off or picked up during showroom hours. We are also available during the week if that works better for you. Please call or email in advance and we'll be happy to make a time for you to come in as we are usually here working on equipment throughout the week. Thank You!
